Prague Illustrated is a vibrant showcase of Czech creativity, featuring two Prague-based illustrators whose work captures the soul of the city through unique visual storytelling.

To mark the conclusion of the Year of Czech Design in Hong Kong 2025 and celebrate the beginning of the Year of Czech Art in Hong Kong and Macao 2026, the Czech Consulate partners with JCCAC for the third annual Exhibition on the Blue Walls. This year’s edition, titled Prague Illustrated, invites audiences to explore the Czech capital through the eyes of two exceptional artists: Tomáš Staněk and Barbora Idesová, supported by The Chemistry Gallery and in collaboration with Labyrint Publishing House.

Together, these two artists offer a compelling portrait of Prague, not as a postcard-perfect destination, but as a living, breathing city full of mystery, history, and human stories. Prague Illustrated is more than an exhibition; it’s an invitation to see the familiar anew, and to discover the beauty in the margins.
